Approved-action disclaimer
Last updated: June 17, 2026 · Operated by LeadRecoverly
LeadRecoverly can make changes in your HubSpot only when you explicitly approve each one. This page explains exactly what an approved action is, what it is not, and what you should know about reversing changes.
About this document. This page describes LeadRecoverly's current practices in plain language. It is provided for transparency and does not constitute legal advice. If you have questions, contact

What an approved action is
- A single-record property update, such as assigning an owner, updating a lifecycle stage, updating a lead status, updating a deal stage, updating a deal close date, or updating a deal amount.
- Something you see in a preview and approve, one record at a time, by checking the approval box and typing an approval note.
- Recorded in your action history with the old value, the new value, who approved it, the time, and whether it succeeded or failed.
What it is not
- It is not automatic. Nothing changes in your HubSpot without your explicit, per-record approval.
- It is not enabled by default. Read-only scanning never changes data; write access requires a separate, deliberate reconnect with write permission.
- It is not a bulk or destructive tool. We do not delete or merge records for you, and we do not run early bulk write operations.
Can I undo an action?
Before every change, we read and store the prior value, so your action history always shows what the value was before. That makes many changes straightforward to reverse: you can set the field back to its prior value, either directly in HubSpot or with another approved action.
Not all changes can be undone cleanly. Some HubSpot operations have side effects (for example, automation or workflows that trigger on a property change) that reversing the field value will not unwind. We log the old value to make reversal possible where it is possible, but we cannot guarantee that every downstream effect can be undone. When in doubt, back up the affected records first.
Safer by design
- We start with low-risk, reversible property updates and require approval on each one.
- We do not offer early bulk actions or destructive operations such as delete or merge.
- Dollar figures and findings are estimates to help you prioritize, not instructions. You are responsible for verifying a record before approving a change to it.
Your responsibility
Any change in your HubSpot, whether made directly or approved through LeadRecoverly, is your decision and your responsibility, as described in the Terms of Service. Back up before any large change.
